Legal teams can now trigger complex eDiscovery tasks with plain-language requests under expanded capabilities in Epiq AI Accelerate, which turn natural-language queries into system-level actions across eDiscovery platforms.
The new capabilities let teams manage workspaces, act on data and surface insights while cutting the manual steps in time-consuming eDiscovery processes.
The capabilities are powered by Claude, the Anthropic AI model which interprets users' natural-language requests. Epiq pairs Claude with a proprietary reasoning and execution layer that governs tool selection, reasoning and workflow execution across its platforms.
The workflows are accessible through the Epiq Service Cloud. They use Model Context Protocol functionality to act as a governed execution engine on top of Epiq Discover and other eDiscovery software. Built-in controls include user permissions, workflow approvals, data isolation, audit logs and AI action traceability.
Supported processes span workspace management, processing and imaging, document search, summarisation, review and export, and production set identification and conflict searches.

The Epiq Service Cloud has more than 2,600 clients and over 48,000 registered users. The new automation capabilities begin rolling out in August.
