Preston Abbey, a US developer of solutions for the secure transmission of confidential and sensitive documents, has introduced the  PA-CFT (Classified File Transfer), enabling government and defence agencies to transfer any classified files, including documents, photos, videos and maps, with the security of Secure Telephone Equipment (STE).

Standards Australia has announced that a new handbook for document control is now available. Called SA/SNZ HB 168:2017, Document Control, the handbook addresses the entire life cycle of business critical documents and provides guidelines for processes and systems for implementing an effective document control program.

Canadian data classification and categorisation solutions provider TITUS has been acquired by US investment firm Blackstone. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Globally, Blackstone is a $US400 billion asset management giant, and the largest real estate private equity firm in the world.
